Summer of '08

PJ had a busy summer, travelling to different places and enjoying the outdoors. He really enjoys the outdoors! Here he is enjoying the swing while on a picnic with his friends.

PJ is enjoys eating and being outdoors - perfect for a picnic in Port Perry.

PJ went on a weekend trip with his '07 buddies to Blue Mountain: Abby, Alyssa, Andrew, Caleb, Connor, & Josiah. (sponsored by Fisher Price!)

Chicago

In July, we took a roadtrip to Chicago with our neighbours, the Hungs. They also have a little boy, Connor whom PJ plays with regularly in playgroups and at church. Here is a shot of the Chicago skyline just outside the Shedd Aquarium.

"Here I am with Dad at the dolphin auditorium."

One of the aquarium divers stopped to take a photo with PJ and Daddy.

"Nice view, eh?"

Dad and PJ, Uncle Jon and Connor.

"I'm exploring 'my room' at the hotel! By the way, did I mention that I LOVE to crawl around and pull myself up on furniture! I can't wait to walk!"

Cloud Gate: A famous work of art in Chicago's Millenium Park. Too bad PJ was asleep, he would have gotten a hoot from looking at his reflection. He loves looking at himself!

Daddy and PJ at the Crystal Garden inside Navy Pier.

"Boy, mom and dad, are you ever stumpy!"

"Mom and dad bought me a Cubs' cap as my Chicago souvenir."

Growing up fast

PJ loves playing inside is ball-tent and smiling for camera. It's like he knows when the camera is on!

In his new fisherman's hat

On his first swing!

His first wheels! (well, when we eventually take off the safety locks)

PJ goes to his first NBA game

PJ makes his first appearance at a Raptors playoff game. He didn't cry at all, even with all the loud fireworks and chanting of "HO-WARD, HO-WARD"

Dad and son with matching Bosh Jerseys.

Even with the loud noises, he was able to fall asleep during the half-time show

" I get to wear my shades!"

PJ at Play

These are PJ's favourite recreational activities:

Getting a "leg up" on piano lessons.

PJ loves this exer-saucer. He will spend time bouncing up and down so hard that it triggers the musical toys to play by itself!

Every kid's dream of having a ball room

"I'm swimming"

Here he is lounging around in his tummy-time gym mat with his famous "look of astonishment"

Some Recent Milestones

"Mom and dad have been pretty lazy keeping up with these posts. Here's a whole whack of pictures...enjoy!"

"My first attempt at solids..."

"This was the first time I was trying rice. I look like I enjoyed it?! My favourite food now is cereal and I'm learning to like veggies. Mommy has to trick me and mix it in with my cereal."

"I can almost sit up on my own without any help. I like to practise a lot."

PJ in Vegas

"The Eiffel Tower in Paris?! Not exactly. I'm in Las Vegas posing in front of the Paris Hotel (where I stayed with mom and dad) with Grandma and Grandpa Cheng."

"I like being carried in the Baby Trekker by mom...I think it's a good workout for her. Here we are at the LV Premium Outlets."

"I loved the FAO Schwartz at the Forum Shops in Caesar's Palace. The giant sized stuffed animals were the coolest."
