PJ's Christmas concert and graduation

PJ was great in his first concert. Singing songs like Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman - which he knew all the words. He must have sang Jingle Bells like 80 times at home!

Koen - 2 month old and growing

Koen just passed two months and is showing great alertness. He's occasionally had some 5 to 6 hour sleep sessions at night which has been great for us.

Just like PJ, they both enjoying lounging on their mat in the bathroom while looking at themselves in the mirror. Already posing for the mirror.

Another closeup shot in his Chirstmas outfit

One of his favourite things is his mobile. He will squeal and get excited when the mobile is running in his crib.

Getting ready for Christmas

Koen in his first Christmas outfit. Waiting around for the rest of the kids for their picture. Of course by that time, he fell asleep:

PJ getting a lift to put up ornaments. He's finally old enough to help with the decorations

PJ placing an ornament

Posing with the finished product

PJ's school pictures

PJ posing with giant crayons. Surprised he didn't throw them or something.

PJ's first class photo. Can't believe he was so still and posed so formally for the camera. Also Chloe (Stew and Mae's youngest) is the second kid on the left of the middle row. Xavier is missing for some reason.

PJ at Halloween

PJ went on his short trick or treating adventure with his friends Andrew and Connor. Due to the cold and them all being 2 years old, we just went to a few doors on our street. The animal theme was used by Andrew (turtle), Connor (elephant) and PJ (dinosaur). Hoepfully I can get some pictures from Uncle Jon who took them when they actually went door to door.

Getting ready to meet up with friends and practicing to say "twick o tweet"

Hugging his buddy Connor (the elephant) before they go out for trick or treating.

Koen is a month old now

Koen is now one month old - so we celebrated the event with a dinner with family. He's much more alert but still hasn't learned to sleep more than a two hours before wanting food.

Celebrating Koen's one month with the Wong side of the family

Some of the cousins disappeared from this photo op for the Chan side of the family (sorry Grandpa for having your head blocked in the picture)

Thanks Auntie Sylvia (and Auntie Elle) for watching PJ during the dinner. PJ loved sitting with his cousins Garrett and Aidan

Here is the Cheng family

Already wearing Steelers gear

PJ is very playful with Koen and loves to hang out with his little brother

PJ and Koen - already best buds

PJ has really shown no signs of jealousy (yet!) and enjoys being with Koen. He'll often ask where "Koen" or "Dye-Dye" is.

First picture - just the two of them on Koen's first day home.

Can you tell which one is PJ and which one is Koen or are they both the same boy? Answer below:

The answer is:
top one is PJ, bottom one is Koen.

Welcome Koen Christopher

Welcome Koen - October 1st, 2009 at 2:13am. Not as big as PJ but pretty close at 8 lbs 13 oz, but taller by an inch at 21.5 inches. Koen is a derivative of Cohen (Hebrew for Priest). Koen is also Dutch for Bold and Daring. The middle name of Christopher is to represent as Christ is being the center: Being Bold for Christ

Although the picture doesn't do it justice - PJ is happy to finally meet his little brother Koen.

The Cheng sisters strike a pose.

Sam giving Irene a break by having Koen sleep on daddy for a while.

Yes, he has cheeks!

Grandma Wong, who was wathcing PJ during his arrival, finally gets to meet her fourth grandchild.

PJ - Summer Fun

PJ's first trip to the Metro Zoo. Very interested in the pigs (as he was born the year of the pig)

One of the highlights of the summer was spending time with Ella in both Calgary and in Toronto. He still will ask where Ella is almost every time he goes to Grandma Wong's house

Thanks to Aunt Joyce for his customized dog at Build-A-Bear. Dog's name is Whoa-Whoa! When you ask him who get him the dog, he will say "Goo Jeah" and laugh.

Having fun at Whittamore Farm at the end of the summer. Going down the monster slide by himself and riding a mini-tractor and going on a hay ride with Ella, Owen and Austin were some of the highlights.

PJ is getting hard to film - whenever he sees a camera, he will run to it. The only way to get him is when he is tied up or failing asleep or both!

Hanging out

Hanging out with Connor and Zach at Caleb's 2nd Birthday.

Getting harder to get a group shot as they grow older. Where's the birthday boy?

Abby, PJ, Jessica and Tyler at a family retreat.

Hanging out with Cousin Garrett.

Easter Fun Fair

PJ's first easter egg hunt. He was more interested in the basket than the eggs.

Auntie Lydia lending a helping hand.

Auntie Darcie showing PJ the way.
His first go at cotton candy - "No thanks"

Going for a ride at the fun fair. He didn't want to leave.
